Decided I could do better than my first attempt at this show, so gave it another go and I think the results are much improved. Just a typically fantastic '93 Hornsby set.

The Allman Brothers Band - Bell Auditorium, Augusta, GA November 18, 1981 (Mr. Sifter remaster)

Allman Brothers Band

Source: analog SBD recording > ? > CD-R > EAC > FLAC

Remastered and speed corrected by Mr. Sifter, July 2024. Some songs have incomplete intros/outros, and "Southbound" has a cut in the middle. Not anyone's favorite era but an overlooked era, with full 5 songs off 'Brothers Of The Road,' an album they'd never return to again after the tour ended a couple months later.

Thx to Sean Gleason for his original 2012 upload.

Bob Seger - Ebbets Field, Denver, CO July 8, 1974 (Mr. Sifter Remaster)

Bob Seger
"Get Out of Denver" (Mr. Sifter Remix & Remaster)
Ebbets Field,
Denver, CO
July 8th, 1974

Source: Pre-FM -> ?? -> FLAC -> DemixPro 5 -> Logic Pro. Remixed & Remastered by Mr. Sifter, Dec. 2023.

The original source is supposedly the original reel-to-reel used for the broadcast, so tackling this one was more a task of stereo positioning and some minor EQ. The original tape had guitars hard right and keys hard left, this may be preferable to hear the individual players but awkward to listen to on headphones. I wanted it to have more of an "in the room" feel like a good live recording should, so while the guitars and keys are still spread, it's a narrower spread that hopefully is closer to what the room may have sounded like, especially given the venue's small size (apparently less than 250 capacity).

Location: row L, DFC
Recorded & mastered by Mr. Sifter

Mastering notes:
EQ to remove a bit of the muddiness, Izotope Music Rebalance to boost vocals slightly, I think my seats were slightly too close to pick up vocals as well as I'd liked. Boosted the acoustic section a bit to reduce the level discrepancy somewhat between that and the rest of the show.

Longest show of the tour so far, CH debut of "Vampire Blues" and first "Sedan Delivery" in a decade. Second encore was unplanned and a very nice surprise. Long live the Horse.

Nick Lowe & His Noise To Go feat. Paul Carrack - Portland, OR October 23, 1982 (Mr. Sifter remix & remaster)

Nick Lowe & His Noise To Go
feat. Paul Carrack
Euphoria, Portland, OR.
October 23rd 1982

Nick Lowe: vocals bass
Paul Carrack: vocals keyboards
Martin Belmont: guitar
Bobby Irwin: drums

Remix notes:

The source had instruments and vocals panned almost entirely to one side, like an early Beatles stereo recording. Extracted tracks via DeMix Pro & mixed in Logic Pro. Not much bass on the master tape, unfortunately, but did the best I could do.
